Hi, John! Great post! Glad you missed the high winds. We’re safely here in the NC mountains waiting to see if we get any rains from Hurricane Ida. We had torrential rains from Hurricane Fred up here …. although we had a downed ancient apple tree on our land we suffered no property damage .. . bu it does provide extra firewood for the winter!!! We just arrived back in Seldovia. We come out of the water in six days.
