Yesterday morning I ordered three items: More AAA rechargeable batteries — we have more and more things that need those — the wrench Terry Etapa suggested to complete the reassembly of the head panels and trim, and a pair of MC4 solar panel parallel connectors. They arrived later the same day.

Traps 1, Rats 0, Varnishing is complete, Cushions moving ahead

Thursday when I arrived at the boat to start work, a bag of lentils had been torn open: the rat(s) had returned. Before leaving at the end of the day I set a trap covered in lentils.

Taylors stove is ready to ship

This morning I heard from John Gardner that the stove was ready to ship. Would I like it insured and for how much?

My major response was to make sure that it arrives after March 3rd, almost two weeks from today.

A short day of small projects

Storing items for projects on Caro Babbo has been and continues to be an issue. This is especially true with small parts.

Generally, I keep a cache of small parts someplace very visible. As the projects that require  the parts go to completion, the parts are used, and the cache remains at a level that reflects the ongoing projects.
